Summer camps begin July 19

Children ages 7 - 12 can experience the wonders of scrub habitat through guided hikes, field studies and games during the Lyonia Environmental Center’s summer camps. The camps will be offered from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday the weeks of July 19 and 26.

Participants will learn about the plants and animals that live in Lyonia Preserve through classroom and field activities. They also will design a T-shirt, create crafts and learn how they can help protect the environment.
